Our target for gifting is a veteran within this targeted area with a short-term significant financial or non-financial need. All donations (100%) are used to this end. We use no part of any donation for administrative expenses. All our operating expenses are met by our own donations at every weekly meeting as we “pass the hat”. We have no paid staff positions. We are 100% voluntary.

 

Our Board of Directors make all donation decisions following our written guidelines. Our value for your donation consideration is that our donations honor one over-riding criterion – the recipient must be a veteran. The giving is without any constraints or other qualifications such as conditions of service, disability, rank, or length of service. We give to a veteran who has an acute need that impacts their quality of their life. This can be financial or even our own labor and your donation-provided materials for a project that makes daily life easier for a needy veteran.
